Too Much Time Has Passed

While providing this blog address to a friend, I realized more than a year has passed since I posted here. Knowing the thoughts, feeling, emotions and craziness have been archived in pictures or quick notes to myself, letters to friends and emails to associates, but it hasn't been typed out and placed here.

The past year has rapidly passed as I have traveled to the islands twice and lost my soul in the desire to live there as a full time resident. At least for a year or two, maybe longer. I have founded, opened and am operating a nonprofit clothing closet for people in transition. Hours and energy have been spent on marketing and advertising, connecting with social groups/networks and other agencies all while asking God to bridge the gap to place me with the ones that can make a difference in other folks lives, including my own.

This past year has brought with it much change within my family and social world. There have been births and deaths, new friendships made and old friendships ended, growth has occurred and life has died. As the seasons of the sun glide from one to another, so does life as we slide through the tides in our minds.

I miss writing and vow to return for I know it is my soul calling. It helps sort out the craziness I live with from caring deeply for others. For being concerned if this person is eating tonight or sleeping in the cold or if that child is sick to the women that need help to the men that are victims of childhood abuse to the ones that deal with life threatening and chronic illnesses. Everyone that comes into my life makes a mark ~ only because I care for their soul.
